Starting is always the hardest part
"The hardest part is starting. When you get that out the way, you'll find the rest of the journey easier"
For about 15mins stretch I've been racking my brain on how to begin this Newsletter, not because I do not know what to write but, I find it difficult trying new things especially when it's the first time. But my joy is that I know how to fill words with an empty paper.
Here is a picture of me telling you “welcome” to the maiden edition of this #TGSS Newsletter. Please don't forget to subscribe if you haven't and make sure you share this with your friends.
“Starting is always the hardest part” You see, in anything you do in life the beginning will always be the point where you will find it most difficult because our mental and physical ability hasn't been so used to that particular thing you are doing before. And this is why most people give up or never try out things the second time.
That is why it seems difficult for me to begin this Newsletter and I was like:
What most people don't know is that the best way in getting things done is by getting started. You need to learn how to start what you intend to do that will change your life for the better whether it's a difficult task or an easy one all you have to do is to start somewhere. By starting, you are moving a step towards achieving your goals and that of other people around you.
During the pandemic, when the whole world was sent into the first phase of lockdown, I was idle; I will sit all day in my brother's room doing nothing other than watching the TV and playing PS4.
I have been daydreaming about learning a skill but fear and procrastination keep eating up my time, I lack what to do to achieve this aim, and also I don't have a clear description of the skill I wanted to learn.
“Just Start anyhow”
In the course of doing nothing with my time, I started writing, writing poems, short stories, and some articles. I expanded my reading and I find joy in reading any well-written Novel especially CNA's Novel.
You don't have to become an expert when it comes to mastering a skill or working yourself, all you need to do is to master how to improve day by day in anything you find yourself doing, do not settle for less.
Don't stop just keep doing it.
The day you successfully made up to start anything, you will feel discouraged, you will think of quitting but learn how to ignite the fire in you to embrace the new life, keep doing it and you will find it much easier.
